Assessment
In the College of Professional Studies, assessment is a reflection of our deepest values as a community - the desire to educate our students to their highest potential, the passion to serve the interests of our external stakeholders, and the continual quest to improve what we do as professionals. Through assessment we can improve our instruction, assure the quality of our programs, and make sure that all our graduates are equipped with the competencies to serve their employers and communities. Our programs were among the first in the university to develop assessment programs, long before they were required by accrediting agencies. They developed out of our natural curiosity to discover what and how our students were learning. That curiosity is still at the heart of our efforts today as we evolve in our goals and our measurement processes.
