Lady Trojans get first road victory

After losing on Tuesday to Louisiana Tech, the Lady Trojans bounced back to defeat Rice, 67-47, on the road on Saturday at the Tudor Fieldhouse.

The Lady Trojans had three players to score in double-digits with Taylor Gault leading the way with a career-high 25 points, Marian Kursh with 11, and Taylor Ford with 10. Kursh also grabbed nine rebounds while Hannah Fohne had eight.

UALR led 33-19 at halftime after Kursh scored on a layup. With the game at 55-43 in the second half, the Lady Trojans went on a 12-4 run to put the game away for the victory.

UALR won the rebounding battle 48-45. They also shot 51.7 percent from the field in the first half.

The Lady Trojans move to 2-2 in the season and will face another road test on Tuesday, Nov. 29 against Missouri State before resuming action at home on December 3 against Southern Miss.

    Having a perfect golf swing is a prime attribute of all of the top players in the sport. However it is not a piece of cake to refine the rhythm and swing every time at a tempo that is consistent. Not only that, but there is a perpetual state of balance that is achieved through a lot of practice.
