Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is not only offering its costumers frugal Halloween costumes this year, but a chance to win an $85 shopping spree.

“[Goodwill] is more than just a great place to find used items at amazing prices,” said Rebecca Brockman, Goodwill’s public relations and community engagement manager. “Around this time of year, it’s a costume gold mine. Shoppers can scour the racks and assemble some great outfits for Halloween for under $15. ”

With 22 stores statewide, the potential to find that perfect vampire or cowboy costume is only a shopping trip away. Your purchase will also support the store’s mission of helping people find jobs.

Here are a few Halloween costume ideas that can be found on Goodwill’s shelves:

  • Tourist: Hawaiian T-shirt, Bermuda shorts and sandals. Accessorize with a camera and visor.
  • Scarecrow: Overalls and a plaid shirt. Accessorize with straw and a hat.
  • 80s Girl: Oversized sweatshirt, tank top, stretch pants, leg warmers and teased hair.

To find your costume, visit Goodwill across from UALR’s campus at 2904 S. University Ave.
To win the $85 dollar shopping spree, simply snap a picture of yourself in your Goodwill Halloween costume and email it to marketing@goodwillar.org.
A winner will randomly be chosen from all entries received by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 3.
