Renovations are currently underway on the second floor of Ottenheimer Library. Earlier this year, the library received one-time university funding to expand student space on the floor. The library’s goal is to open up the area vacated by the move of UALR’s Arkansas archival collections to the Arkansas Studies Institute and transform the floor into a group work area that will enhance the learning and research experiences of students.
The renovations will involve opening two restrooms for public use, removing a wall and replacing the carpet. Furniture will need to be temporarily relocated and there will be periods of intermittent noise as a result of the construction. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Renovations will continue throughout the month of July with an expected completion date of mid-August.
