John Siegel is New Research Librarian

John Siegel, formerly the Student Success Librarian, has made a lateral transition to become Ottenheimer Library’s new Research & Scholarly Communication Librarian. John has been with Ottenheimer Library for eight years and has developed many partnerships among campus groups.

In his new position, John will continue to collaborate with faculty about course-integrated library instruction sessions and assist students in finding appropriate materials for their research. John will also take on new tasks such as collaborating with faculty and campus partners to integrate open educational resources (OER) into curriculum and with learning management systems. He will additionally provide leadership in emerging models of scholarly publication and support researchers with their grant data management.
