ArkReach is a resource sharing partnership between the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock) and the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS). ArkReach enables library users at both institutions to directly request and borrow materials from either of the two library systems.
With ArkReach, UA Little Rock students, faculty and staff are able to search a catalog of shared holdings, identify books, DVDs and CDs at a CALS public library branch, and request that the materials be delivered to the UALR Ottenheimer Library.
Once the materials arrive at the library, users receive e-mail notifications and can then check-out the materials with their UA Little Rock IDs (no separate CALS library card/account is needed).
- Generally arrive within 7 days
- Check-out for either 28 days (books) or 14 days (DVDs/CDs)
- May be renewed one time
- Are subject to UA Little Rock overdue and damage rules and procedures.
