Living Learning Community

Connecting your classroom with your residential community creates a support system like no other. The UALR Living Learning Communities offer tailor-made academic experiences in five sections, from the arts and humanities to STEM subjects. Students who enroll in one of these communities will:

  • forge lifelong friendships with others who share their academic goals and interests
  • receive focused instruction from professors in their program
  • become a part of a community in which a late-night study partner is only a knock away
  • join in activities that enrich the college experience, from field trips to guest lectures

Why join?

Studies show that students in these type of communities develop friendships, attend programs, and become more engaged in the campus environment. This increased participation and network of support leads to higher grades and more satisfaction with the general college experience.
