Praxis Information
Students wishing to seek licensure are required to take both the Praxis I and the Praxis II (Test 524)
Praxis I will be similar to the ACT test and will cover Reading, Math, and Writing. In order to pass, you must score a 172 on Reading, a 173 on Writing, and a 171 in Math. You will get your result in Reading and Math immediately and you will receive your score in Writing approximately 2 ½ to 3 weeks after completion of your exam.
Praxis II will cover content similar to the content covered in your program. There will be 25 multiple choice questions and 5 scenario questions. You will get your results back in approximately 4 weeks.
For both tests, the Praxis website contains materials to help you study.
