The first step to becoming a UA Little Rock Orientation Leader is completing the online application. This application allows the Student Experience Center to learn more about you and why you would be a good fit for the position. We want to learn more about your academic interests, previous work experience, personal interests and how this role will help you achieve your future goals. After submitting your completed application and reference you will be asked to sign up for a group and individual interview.

Round 1-Group Interview:

During the Group Interview you will be placed in a small group setting. The goal of this round of the interview process is to learn about how you work in a team environment and the role you play in a group. This interview will include activities that will help us better evaluate your communication skills, work ethic, team management, responsibility, and personal attitude.

Round 2-Individual Interview:

During the Individual Interview you will meet one on one with the Coordinator for New Student & Parent programs. In this interview you will be able to share your skills, previous experience, and goals in a more personal setting. This is an opportunity for you to share why you would make an excellent 2018 UA Little Rock Orientation Leader, so make sure to put your best foot forward!

Orientation Leader Training:

If you are selected to serve as a 2018 UA Little Rock Orientation Leader Orientation you will then be offered an invitation to complete the Orientation Leader Training. Orientation Leader Training will occur throughout the 2018 Spring semester with weekly meetings on Fridays from 3:00pm-5:00pm. During the training course Orientation Leaders will develop their knowledge about UA Little Rock, leadership, communication, and intrapersonal skills. After successfully completing the Orientation Leader training, you will then be formally offered the position of a 2018 UA Little Rock Orientation Leader.
