Desert Glass
When a meteorite impacts sand, it is liquified and splashed into the atmosphere, creating these lovely greenish pieces of glass.

When a meteorites hits the Earth, soil is kicked up and subsequently rains down through the atmosphere, creating these lovely glass droplets.

A shatter cone is created from the force of meteorite impact. The shock waves travel away from the impact site, leaving "tracks" in the surrounding earth.
