Angela Hunter, Associate Professor of Liberal Studies

Dr. Hunter holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Colorado College, an MA in French literature from NYU, and PhD in Comparative Literature with a certificate in Psychoanalytic Studies from Emory University. Areas of research are 18th-19th-century French literature (particularly Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Louise Dupin, and Stendhal); 20th-century French thought (particularly deconstruction, feminist and gender theory, queer theory), Psychoanalytic Studies (Freud and Lacan), and Interdisciplinary Studies.
