Andrew Wright, Associate Professor of Applied Science
Dr. Wright’s research interests include Digital Control and Robotics and Mechatronics Design. He is currently working on a novel state-based control scheme called Mode Selection Logic. This control scheme is being applied to feedback control of a robot’s motion and coordination of many robots to patrol a border. Dr. Wright has served as Principal Investigator on a number of projects at UALR, including an NSF-funded Active Sound Cancellation project (with Alcoa) and a NASA sponsored project on control and measurement of hybrid rocket motors.
