Xiu Ye, Professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics
Dr. Xiu Ye is a professor of mathematics. Her specialty is numerical analysis, finite element methods. Finite element method is a numerical technique for finding approximate solutions of partial differential equations. It has strong applications in science and engineering such as fluid mechanics and computational chemistry. Any collaborations are welcomed. Dr. Ye has been the sole investigator on two research projects funded by National Science Foundation (NSF) with total amount of $308,350. She is the author of over 50 fully peer-reviewed papers.
