Academic scholarship application

After exploring the variety of UALR scholarships for eligibility, the next step is filling out the online scholarship application. UALR entering student scholarships are competitive – many are awarded based on an admissions application, ACT or SAT scores, scholarship application, and official high school transcript. Eligibility does not guarantee a scholarship, and awards are determined annually based on eligible applications and available funding.

The scholarship application process

This application is for students new to UALR. Current students applying for general or department-level scholarships should follow separate instructions for those scholarships.

Remember that many scholarships also require a letter of recommendation or an essay on an assigned topic. Review the requirements and don’t forget to send the additional application materials to the Office of Financial Aid by the deadline. Materials may be emailed to, faxed to 501.569.8956, or mailed to 2801 South University Ave.; Little Rock, AR 72204.

The information you provide will determine which scholarships you are eligible for, so accuracy and completeness is essential.

*If a higher ACT/SAT score is earned, the student must notify the Office of Financial Aid and submit an official copy of the new scores by Feb. 1 to receive a higher scholarship award. Higher scores will not be considered after the final deadline.
