Academic scholarship application

After exploring the variety of UALR scholarships for eligibility, the next step is filling out the online scholarship application. UALR entering student scholarships are competitive ā€“ many are awarded based on an admissions application, ACT or SAT scores, scholarship application, and official high school transcript. Eligibility does not guarantee a scholarship, and awards are determined annually based on eligible applications and available funding.

Remember that many scholarships also require a letter of recommendation or an essay on an assigned topic. Review the requirements and donā€™t forget to send the additional application materials to the Office of Financial Aid by the deadline. Materials may be emailed to financialaid@ualr.edu, faxed to 501.569.8956, or mailed to 2801 South University Ave.; Little Rock, AR 72204.

The information you provide will determine which scholarships you are eligible for, so accuracy and completeness is essential.

*If a higher ACT/SAT score is earned, the student must notify the Office of Financial Aid and submit an official copy of the new scores by Feb. 1 to receive a higher scholarship award. Higher scores will not be considered after the final deadline.
