The Sequoyah National Research Center is home to the over-2400-piece Dr. J. W. Wiggins Native American Art Collection. With works representing Native artists from Meso-America to the Canadian Arctic, the Wiggins Collection is one of the world’s premier collections of contemporary Native American art. The Wiggins Gallery hosts art exhibitions drawn from the collection and is open to the general public.

Other SNRC art collections include the Ronald Anderson collection, works by the Choctaw artist; the Barry Lindley collection of Inuit works; the Jody and Mike Wahlig Collection, featuring works from the American Plains, and the J.T. Moncravie Osage Collection, featuring works by Osage artists.
