Getting to Discover is easy!

  • Free parking is available in Lot 13, which is located next to the Jack Stephens Center. (View on Google Maps)
  • Check-in will be located on the first floor of the JSC, and greeters will be available to point you in the right direction.

After you check in, head to the Main Concourse of the Jack Stephens Center to start connecting with Trojans! You’ll find academic majors, clubs, and key offices who have information for you to grab and answers for your questions.

Welcome Session
Next, you’ll find a seat in the stands and enjoy the Welcome Session. Hear from the Chancellor, cheer for a free t-shirt, and learn more about what to expect during Discover. Bonus? You may be picked to compete in our first scholarship contest during this session!

11 a.m. Choose a program to explore
Guided to Academic Session
Admissions staff and volunteers will lead your group to your academic session. During your Academic Session, you’ll learn about what makes your academic major and college special during this session. Leave knowing what to expect from these programs when you become a student!

Win a Scholarship

Plan on attending UA Little Rock in 2023? During Discover, you can participate in scholarship contests! There are two contests: The Welcome Session Competition and the Social Media Scholarship Contest. Check out all the details in the next section. Good luck!

Welcome Session Competition

During the Welcome session at 10:30 a.m., recruitment staff will find students in the crowd to participate in a competition on the basketball court. At the end of the game, two winners will be awarded with a $500 scholarship!

Social Media Contest

The contest begins on Nov. 2 at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Five $250 scholarships will go to the winners in our social media contest. Winners will be chosen in these categories:

  • Best Overall—the post we love the most
  • Most Creative—think outside the box and create a vibe
  • Best Trojan Spirit—the biggest UA Little Rock school spirit will be rewarded
  • Campus Explorer—take us on an adventure through campus
  • Most Popular—get the most likes, shares, and comments

How to Enter

Here’s how to enter the social media contest:

  1. Follow us on one of the social media platforms shown below.
  2. When you post on your preferred platform, tag us and include #UALittleRock.
  3. Each post will be considered an entry, and there are no limits on the amount you post.

Eligibility: Scholarships can be used by students who enroll in classes during any term in 2023 (Spring, Summer, or Fall) as a degree-seeking student.

Event Safety Guidelines

Your safety is a priority to UA Little Rock. Please review the guidelines below, so you can safely enjoy the event.

Do Not Attend If You or Your Guests Have:
Fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell, or known exposure to someone with Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

Consider Not Attending If You or Your Guests:
Have underlying health conditions including high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, severe obesity, asthma, or weakened immunity, or are over 65 years of age.
