The Department of Applied Communication at UA Little Rock is an active collaborative partner with the Positive Communication Network. Founded in 2022, the network seeks to build a community of persons across the world who are studying and putting into practice the principles of positive communication.
Consistent with the mission of the Department of Applied Communication to “co-create better social worlds through positive communication,” this network of scholars, practitioners, and students work together towards bettering interpersonal, organizational, and public settings, in their various jobs and industries.
Each year the network sponsors a virtual annual conference where interested persons can join to learn and share their own best practices in positive communication. This year’s conference is scheduled for March 15, 2024, from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. (Central Time). To sign up, go to the 2024 Positive Communication Conference.
