Tuition Waivers for Students Age 60 and Over
If you are an Arkansas resident who is at least 60 years of age and has been admitted to UA Little Rock, you can receive a waiver of all tuition and student fees for courses in which that student is enrolled for credit. The waiver will be granted on a space-available basis.
The online application fee ($40), bookstore purchases, parking permits, parking tickets, and Health Services visits are excluded from the over 60 waiver.
Qualifying students can register for classes only on the last day of the regular registration period and the entire late registration period each academic term to receive the waiver.
Students eligible for the waiver will not be subject to late registration fees, late payment fees, or any collection actions. If the student is degree-seeking, transcripts are required from all institutions for transfer work. Students in this category are not eligible for federal aid.
Note: You must have reached your 60th birthday prior to the first day of the semester in order to receive the tuition waiver. You will need to provide proof of age to Student Accounts, such as an AR driver’s license or state ID, to establish eligibility for a tuition waiver.
Please refer to the Tuition Waiver for Sixty and Older policy for more information.
