Institute on Race and Ethnicity Named for Anderson

At its May meeting, the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees approved the renaming of the UALR Institute on Race and Ethnicity to the Joel E. Anderson Institute on Race and Ethnicity.  Joel E. Anderson, chancellor emeritus, led the establishment of the Institute on Race and Ethnicity  in 2011 in an effort to strengthen the University’s commitment to racial and ethnic justice. Read more here
