The 2015 SpectacUALR event benefiting UALR Athletics was a tremendous success.  New York Knicks head coach and former Trojan Basketball player Derek Fisher was this year’s honoree. The event was the largest SpectacUALR to date.

Chancellor Joel E. Anderson announced Monday that UALR will build a new visual arts building scheduled to open in fall 2017. Chancellor Joel E. Anderson threw out the first pitch at Gary Hogan Field for Trojan Baseball’s home opener on Friday, February 13.  The Trojans began their season with a win against Evansville before falling to Evansville in the double header on Saturday afternoon.    

The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation recently honored Chancellor Joel E.
