Richard Lewis

Rick Lewis started as a faculty member in the School of Criminal Justice and Criminology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in the Fall of 2018. Rick completed his Ph.D. at the College of Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville Texas. Prior to his doctorate Rick also obtained a M.S. in biology and B.S. in biology and a minor in statistics. Rick’s primary research interests are the role of biological factors in antisocial behavior and consequences of trauma. Rick has been a part of several primary data collections and has received training and the ability to work in a genetic lab extracting, quantifying, and genotyping samples and working with steroids such as cortisol and testosterone. Currently, Rick is starting a CJBio lab in the School of Criminal Justice and Criminology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
