Faded Highway – Drunken Obstacle Course

Health Services joined with the UALR Department of Public Safety (DPS), Delta Theta Sorority, Inc.|Mu Kappa Chapter and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. | Kappa Psi Chapter to offer a drunk driving obstacle course on lot 2 of the campus. Photographs depicting people from various walks of life, as well as animals, were placed on the orange cones which made up the obstacle. A DPS officer rode in the cart while the driver used drunken goggles to experience the effects of intoxication. Students also wore the drunken goggles to see if they could walk a straight line.

Included in this event was an interactive game testing the students’ knowledge of alcohol use and abuse. Prizes were given to those who answered correctly.

  • Approximately 50 people attended.
