Associate Vice Chancellor – Chief Information Officer Brian Keltch Retiring in May
The end of May marks a significant transition for the university as we bid farewell to Brian Keltch, our esteemed Associate Vice Chancellor – Chief Information Officer, who is retiring after many dedicated years. Brian’s presence since joining us in 2016 as the Director of Information Technology has been a constant source of strength and guidance.

From his early days leading the Enterprise Applications and Development team to his impactful tenure as CIO, Brian has consistently impressed us with his deep knowledge and extensive experience in the field. He possesses a unique ability to not only understand the intricacies of technology but also to articulate them in a clear and accessible manner.
What truly sets Brian apart is his leadership style. He leads with a quiet confidence and an unwavering sense of calm, which has had a positive ripple effect throughout his teams and across departments. In moments of challenge, Brian’s steady hand and thoughtful approach have always been reassuring.
His contributions as CIO will leave an indelible mark on the university. He has been instrumental in guiding the department through many noteworthy projects over his tenure including the coordination of IT Services tasks associated with the monumental Project One (i.e. Workday). We are truly grateful for his commitment, leadership, and the positive spirit he brings to work every day.
Brian, as you embark on your retirement, please know that you will be sorely missed. We wish you all the joy, relaxation, and fulfillment that this new chapter brings. Thank you for everything.
