In the coming months, IT Services will be launching a comprehensive renovation of our online customer support portal, powered by our UA Little Rock instance of ServiceNow ITSM platform. The update introduces a modernized, look and expanded functionality–particulary for IT purchasing to better serve the campus community.
The portal continues to be your primary destination for IT support, application access, and ticket tracking. Whether you are submitting an Incident to fix a technical issue or requesting a new service, the portal keeps you connected with real-time updates.
What’s New: Expanded Knowledge and Streamlined Purchasing
The renovation is designed to elevate your user experience. The renovated portal will feature enhanced options to seamlessly search for solutions within our IT Knowledge Base, empowering you to find answers and resolve basic issues quickly.
Additionally, we are introducing a streamlined technology quote and approval request system designed to facilitate faster workflows and approvals for IT-related acquisitions. When the update goes live, you will have access to four new distinct purchasing request options:
- Software
- Hardware
- Network Services
- Audio-Visual Products and Services
By integrating these new purchasing capabilities alongside the client support tools you already rely on, we are creating a more unified, efficient, and user-friendly digital experience for all campus users.
