Class of 2010

Jennifer Bell, ’10, serves on the Transformation Advisory Board for Gov. Hutchinson’s comprehensive plan for the transformation of state government.  Ms. Bell was named as a 2020 Legal Elite in Arkansas Money and Politics, for being 1 out of 100 of Arkansas’ top attorneys, specializing in areas of the law ranging from sports law to bankruptcy.

Cory Biggs, ’10, has joined ForwARd ARkansas as associate director.

Kate Davidson, ’10, was elected into partnership at Hilburn & Harper, Ltd.

Nicolas De Castro, ’10, is the founder and owner of Nicolas P. De Castro, PLLC in Charlotte, NC.

Amber Crouch, ’10, joined Crews & Associates Inc. of Little Rock as the new senior compliance officer.

Judge Josh Farmer, ’10, was appointed by Gov. Asa Hutchinson as a Special Associate Justice of the Supreme court of Arkansas.

Qualenta Forrest, ’10, joined Tampa General Hospital as Executive Vice President and Chief People and Talent Officer.

Will Gruber, ’10, is an attorney at Bolden Law Firm, PLLC.

Dallas Heltz, ’10, is secretary of the commission at the Arkansas Public Service Commission.  Mr. Heltz has also accepted a position as legal counsel with the U.S. Army.

Risie Howard, ’10, is a certified member of the Lawyers of Distinction. She was selected for inclusion into the Top Attorneys of North America 2021-2022 edition by The Who’s Who Directories. 

Anthony Johnson, ’10, was recognized in Soirée Magazines Best Lawyers in 2019.

Clark Jennings, ’10, and Mary Rutherford Jennings  have moved to Singapore, where Clark is launching a regional office for his firm, Crowell and Moring International LLC.

Stephanie Khouri, ’10, opened her own law practice, Stephanie M. Khouri, P.C., in Georgia.

Tara Kpere-Daibol, ’10 launched her own estate planning practice for families, Emerald Law & Consulting.

Molly Lucas, ’10, was named as a 2020 Legal Elite in Arkansas Money and Politics, for being 1 out of 100 of Arkansas’ top attorneys, specializing in areas of the law ranging from sports law to bankruptcy.

Randy Mano, ’10, joined Walker & Doepfner, PLLC, as Of Counsel.

RJ Martino, ’10, was named in Arkansas Business 2018 Class of 40 Under 40.

Brooke Moore, ’10, was named “2017 Women of Legal Tech” honoree by the American Bar Association. She was named a member of the national Tech Show Board for a three-year appointment beginning in 2019. Ms. Moore is co-chair of the ABA TECHSHOW 2022. She was an honoree of  the Arkansas Business 2021 “40 under 40” list. 

Anne Milligan, ’10, is an associate at Fisher Phillips, LLP. The firm is one of the largest U.S. law firms representing management exclusively in the areas of labor and employment.

Kenneth “Rusty” Mitchell, ’10, has joined Taylor King and Associates in Arkadelphia.

Daniel Osborne, ’10, serves as Claims Counsel and Assistant Vice President at Fidelity National Title Group in Jacksonville, FL.

Scott Pace, ’10, is a partner with Impact Management Group. Mr. Pace received the 2018 John W. Dargavel Medal during the National Community Pharmacists Association Convention.

Keith Pike, ’10, was named RE/MAX Recruiter of the Year for the United States. He was also named RE/MAX Broker/Owner of the Year and RE/MAX Recruiter of the Year for Arkansas. He is the owner of RE/MAX Elite in Little Rock, Conway, and Bryant, AR, and RE/MAX Infinity in Overland Park, KS. He was also recognized in Soirée Magazines Best 100 Lawyers in Little Rock in 2015.

Brien Saputo, ’10, has joined the Hosto and Buchan Law Firm.

Janiella C. Shirley, ’10, is an attorney-P&C general counsel at USAA in San Antonio, TX.

Corey Thomas, ’10, was selected as one of two members of the Army National Guard to serve on a Special mission at the U.S. Embassy in Iraq.

Melissa Bandy, ’11, has been named a member of the Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard Law Firm. She was also recognized in Soirée Magazines Best Lawyers in 2018 and 2019.

Shira Bernstein, ’11, is now an HR Generalist at VMware in Austin, TX.

Bart Calhoun, ’11, was recognized in Soirée Magazines Best Lawyers in 2018.

Kenya Gordon Davenport, ’11, was named to Rock the Culture’s 2018 Women to Watch list.  Kenya joined Gill Ragon Owen. She welcomed baby Kenneth Christopher Davenport on May 13. He weighed 8 lbs, 4 oz and measured 22 inches. 

Amber Davis, ’11,  was named in Arkansas Business 2018 Class of 40 Under 40. She holds the position as Assistant General Counsel at Heifer International.

Kimberly Eden, ’11, is an attorney/litigation manager at Hosto & Buchan Law Firm.

Tamika Edwards, ’11, is the Executive Director of the Social Justice Institute at Philander Smith College. She was also named to Rock the Culture’s 2018 Women to Watch list. Ms. Edwards was named Woman of the Year in Business by the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas.

Caroline Hollingsworth, ’11, was named a “Rising Star in Law 2018” by the Birmingham Business Journal.

Mariah Leigh Hornok, ’11, is a prosecuting attorney with the Summit County Attorney’s Office in Park City, UT. She and Jonathan Hornok welcomed their fourth child, Helen Jean Hornok, into their family on June 6th.

Kate Lachowsky-Khan, ’11, was elected into partnership at The Wilson Law Group.

Laura Lensing Calhoun, ’11, and Bart Calhoun,‘11, welcomed baby Meredith Fox Calhoun on June 4, weighing 8 pounds, 4 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches.

Smrithi Mohan, ’11, is In-house Attorney and Contracts Negotiator in the legal department at Dun & Bradstreet, Inc., in New Jersey. She was admitted to Harvard’s Continuing Education Program for strategic management.

Martinique Parker, ’11, was invested as a judge with the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) under the U.S. Department of Justice on April 23, 2021. She was appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland as a United States Immigration Judge in Houston, TX.

Chris Rippy, ’11, formed Rippy, Stepps & Associates Estate Planning & Elder Law Attorneys.

Michael Salorio, ’11, is a partner with Lenderman & Salorio in El Centro, CA.

James Scurlock, ’11, is an associate attorney with Wallace, Martin, Duke & Russell, PLLC. He was also was recognized in Soirée Magazines Best 100 Lawyers in Little Rock in 2015.

David Wright, ’11, has joined the College of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis as the Director of Development.

Mike Cantrell, ’12, serves as the Arkansas Assistant Solicitor General. He was also named a Ryan and Regan Haggerty Family Fellow by the Conservative Partnership Institute.

Skye Martin, ’12, is an Associate Attorney at Destiny Law Firm in Little Rock.  She was chosen as a 2019 World Woman Fellow by the World Woman Foundation.  Skye is a member of the inaugural class of the Public Service Academy. She recently joined the Board of Directors for Pulaski County CASA. Ms. Martin was elected to serve as president for AAWL. 

Molly McGowan, ’12, is this year’s chair of the Power of the Purse Luncheon benefiting the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas.

Kate Fletcher, ’13, was promoted to senior counsel for sustainability & corporate governance at Uniti Group Inc.

Arianna Goodman, ’14, was part of the legal team that successfully defended Pennsylvania State Senator Lawrence Farnese in a high-profile case involving alleged bribery and honest services fraud during a weeklong trial. She is an associate at Montgomery McCracken and a member of the firm’s White Collar and Government Investigations practice.

Ben Hollowell, ’14, of Applied Technology Group USA, was named a Small Private Company CFO of the Year by Arkansas Business in 2016.

Shanice Johnson, ’13, was elected to serve as the Pulaski County 10th Division Juvenile Judge.

Joshua Adkerson, ’15, joined the Personal Injury Team of Taylor King & Associates of Arkadelphia.

Westley Ashley, ’15 was featured in the Arkansas Times for his ideas for families in need with the story titled, “Allow adult adoptees access to their original birth certificates and related court documents.”  Westley was selected to be a part of the inaugural class of the Public Service Academy.

Andrew Branch, ’15, has been appointed to the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District 22, by Gov. Asa Hutchinson. Mr. Branch was also named Chief Financial Officer of the Arkansas Department of Veteran Affairs.

Furonda Brasfield, ’15, received the Peace Activist of the Year award from the Arkansas Coalition for Peace and Justice in 2018. She was also named to Rock the Culture’s 2018 Women to Watch list.

Sydney Brown, ’15, joined the Davidson Law Firm in Little Rock.

David Alan Bubbus, ’15, was featured as a High Profile in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

William “Goose” Changose, ’15, joined the board of directors for the Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses.

Devon Daughety, ’15, has been selected to serve on the inaugural Law Student Committee for the ABA Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice. She was also named a 2018 “Up and Coming Lawyer” by the Wisconsin Law Journal. 

Meagan Davis, ’15,  will begin her term as a member of the ACANSA Board of Directors in 2020.

Jake Fair, ’15, is an associate attorney at Wright Lindsey Jennings. He chaired the Bowen Alumni Association Young Alumni Committee 2015-2017 and is currently serving as an Alumni Board Member. Mr. Fair was part of the 2021 graduating class of Leadership Arkansas. 

Mary and Jake Fair ’15, welcomed baby Emily Kathryn Fair on Feb. 9, weighing 6 lbs 14.9 oz and measuring 18.5 inches.

Erin W. Lewis, ’15, was recognized in Soirée Magazines Best Lawyers in 2019.

JB Smiley, ’15, was elected to Memphis City Council. His term began January 1, 2020. He was also awarded the Harold Ford Sr. Award of Integrity: Persistence in Politics at the 2020 Black Millennial Political Tennessee Regional Convention.
