Thermo K-Alpha XPS System Added to Center Instrument Resources

A new instrument is in the process of being installed at the Nanotechnology Center. The Thermo K-Alpha XPS System, which is a fully integrated and compact X-ray photoelectron spectrometer, allows for the measurement of the elemental composition, empirical formula, chemical state and electronic state of the elements that exist within a material.
