Dance Scholarship Auditions Set For Feb. 3

The UALR Theatre and Dance Department will hold dance scholarship interviews and dance technique placement auditions for the 2012-2013 academic year from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at the Center for the Performing Arts. All students must sign up for and schedule auditions and interviews before Feb. 3. Dancers interested in scholarships will participate in individual interviews and informational sessions with faculty. All dancers entering the program will take part in placement classes in both modern and ballet technique. Interested students should provide a letter of interest expressing educational goals, a brief resume of experience in theatre and dance, an official high school or college transcript, and one letter of recommendation.
