‘Big Data’ conferences attract reps from 25 countries
Representatives from 25 countries, 63 companies, and 20 educational institutions from around the world are at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock this week during two back-to-back major international conferences focused on data science.
The 2013 Information and Data Quality Conference, one of the leading annual gatherings of the worldwide information quality and data governance community, began Nov. 4 and concludes Nov. 7.
Immediately following the IDQ conference, the 2013 International Conference on Information Quality begins. It wraps up Nov. 9.
UALR’s Donaghey College of Engineering and Information Technology is hosting more than 80 separate sessions during the overlapping conferences through its Information Quality graduate program, the only one of its kind in the nation.
Throughout both conferences, the university’s new George W. Donaghey Emerging Analytics Center™ staff will present advanced 3-D data demonstrations.
