UALR degree programs available at Texarkana campus
Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana classroom
Texarkana, Ark. — This fall, Texarkana-area residents can start earning a University of Arkansas at Little Rock bachelor’s degree at a campus close to home.
UALR faculty will teach courses for bachelor’s degrees at the Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana as part of a partnership between the two higher education institutions.
Through the program, students can pursue a degree at the community college and then transfer to UALR while remaining in Texarkana.
Those interested might want to take note: A UALR-Texarkana onsite admissions, advising, and registration event is set to run from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at the community college campus, 3501 U of A Way, Texarkana. Attendees have a chance to win an iPad Mini.
UALR will offer the following degree programs in Texarkana this fall:
Bachelor of Applied Science
Bachelor of Professional Studies
Bachelor of Business Administration in general business
Bachelor of Science in construction management
Fall classes begin Aug. 17. UALR will charge an admissions application fee of $40.
