Numerous University of Arkansas at Little Rock students were honored for their performance during a recent tech business start-up event at UALR.
2 Days to Startup, a collaboration of UALR and The Venture Center, was a weekend-long program designed to bring business professionals, entrepreneurs and students together in a real-world problem-solving competition.
The Donaghey College of Engineering and Information Technology (EIT) hosted the event Nov. 6-8.
Winners included:
First place: A team comprised of UALR students Alahandro Harris, Ashley Knickrehm, Jonathon Nelson, and Rose Danielle Rains as well as Kurt Knickrehm and Asylzat Batybekova
Second place: A team comprised of UALR students KaBrya Baldwin, Amit Budhwani, Christopher Hamilton, and Kiauna Rome as well as Tim Sweeny
Third place: A team comprised of UALR students Deja Avery and Olivia Williams as well as Marianna Chazaryan and Mark McNair
