The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will honor Chancellor Joel E. Anderson for 45 years of service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at Cooper Fountain. 

Anderson will retire from UALR on June 30.

The picnic-style event will feature some of his favorite foods, including pizza from U.S. Pizza, barbecue sandwiches from Whole Hog Café, and fried chicken from Sodexo.

A photo booth will be on site. Free parking will be available in the parking deck. Shuttles will run between the parking deck and the event site.
