UALR appoints John Burgess to Tech Park Board
University of Arkansas at Little Rock Chancellor Joel E. Anderson announced that UALR alumnus John Burgess has been appointed to the Little Rock Technology Park Authority Board, effective June 29.
“I am pleased that Mr. Burgess has accepted a position on the Tech Park Board,” Anderson said. “His experience as an entrepreneur and his knowledge of the interplay of technology and business operations will be of great value to the board as it works to develop the Little Rock Technology Park.”
Burgess is president and co-founder of Mainstream Technologies in Little Rock. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and serves on the board of advisers for the International Association of Cloud and Managed Service Providers.
He previously served as chairman of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the board of directors of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce.
