Award-winning author Stewart O’Nan to visit UALR
Acclaimed author Stewart O’Nan will speak at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the UALR Fine Arts Building.
O’Nan is the author of 16 novels, including “City of Secrets,” “West of Sunset,” “The Odds,” “Emily Alone,” “Songs for the Missing,” “Last Night at the Lobster,” “A Prayer for the Dying,” and “Snow Angels.”
Along with Stephen King, he also co-authored the national bestselling nonfiction book “Faithful: Two Diehard Boston Red Sox Fans Chronicle the Historic 2004 Season.”
O’Nan’s novel, “West of Sunset,” recently received the 2016 Prix Littéraire Lucien Barrière literary prize. “Snow Angels” won the Pirates Alley William Faulkner Prize and was made into a feature film directed by David Gordon Green and starring Sam Rockwell and Kate Beckinsale. O’Nan’s book, “Last Night at the Lobster” was a national bestseller and a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
