Marina Avram

University of Arkansas at Little Rock volleyball player Marina Avram was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team.

Avram led Little Rock with 13 double-doubles, 338 kills, 3.02 kills per set, and 1,094 attacks. She had the second-most digs on the team with 249 for the year. Avram’s 3.02 kills per set ranked eighth in the Sun Belt during the regular season. In conference action, Avram had the sixth-most kills per set with 3.21.

Avram finished her four-year career at Little Rock with 835 kills and 707 digs while putting up 22 double-doubles. She was the only remaining Trojan from the historic 2014 team that defeated No. 16-seeded Kansas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Avram is the 49th Little Rock player to earn All-Sun Belt Conference honors in the program’s history. The Trojans have now had a player earn All-Sun Belt honors every year since 2011 and in 24 of the last 25 years.
