Little Rock baseball has announced a pair of exhibition contests against Southeastern Conference foes to highlight the fall practice season. The Trojans will welcome defending national runner-up Arkansas to Gary Hogan Field on Friday, Oct. 12, before traveling to Oxford, Mississippi, to face Ole Miss on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Little Rock’s matchup with Arkansas will be a 4:30 p.m. first pitch on Oct. 12, marking the Razorbacks’ first-ever trip to Gary Hogan Field.

Due to the anticipated high interest in the game, ticket information, as well as game-day policies and guidelines, will be announced in the coming days.

Media space will be limited and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting Rand Champion, assistant athletics director for communications, at rdchampion@ualr.edu.

The Trojans are coming off a 28-win season, one which saw them sit in first place in the Sun Belt’s West Division for the majority of the season and notch a conference tournament victory over Georgia State. Little Rock returns the majority of both its offensive production and pitching staff with new additions expected to bolster the Trojan lineup.

Little Rock’s full baseball season schedule will be released in the coming weeks as season tickets for the Trojans’ 2019 slate will be available soon.
