VEX IQ for beginnersDates: Session 1: June 24-28, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.Dates: Session 2: June 24-28, 1 to 4 p.m.Grades: 3-8This camp will be centered around the VEX IQ robotics kit used by many schools in Arkansas. This camp will focus on introducing students to VEX IQ robotics components, programming methods, and construction techniques. Girl Powered VEX EDRDates: July 8-12, 1 to 4 p.m.Grades: Girls 6-12The purpose of VEX Girl Powered camp is to encourage new experiences, a diverse culture, and a more encompassing definition of what a roboticist looks like. In an effort to encourage more middle school and high school girls to participate in robotics, this camp is a girls-only session.VEX EDRDates: July 15-19, 1 to 4 p.m.Grades 6-12This camp explores the worlds of engineering, robotics, and coding with the VEX Robotics Design System. Students get hands-on experience building a frame and base for the robot and engineer its wiring.
