The University District Development Corporation will host three farmers markets on Thursdays in October to promote healthier eating through access to fresh fruits and vegetables. 

The farmers markets will be held from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 6, Oct. 13, and Oct. 20 at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock University Plaza parking lot.

The farmers markets will feature fresh fruits and vegetables, crafts, plants, prizes, and healthy food demonstrations.
