Pierce will speak on future of information science during EIT Colloquium Series talk
Dr. Elizabeth Pierce, chair of the Department of Information Science at UA Little Rock, will present a colloquium talk about the challenges facing higher education as well as the opportunities available for the success of universities, students, and faculty members.
The talk, “Information Science 2030: Our Roadmap to the Future,” will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, in the Engineering and Information Technology Building Room 217.
In her talk, Pierce will discuss expected changes to higher education leading up to 2030 and provide advice for how those working in higher education can better prepare students for the workforce.
This talk is part of the Donaghey College of Engineering and Information Technology Colloquium Series.
