Tickets on sale for UA Little Rock public radio fundraiser

University of Arkansas at Little Rock Public Radio will host its second annual  Block, Beer & Bourbon event on Jan. 11 to raise money for programming.

The beer and bourbon tasting event takes place  7-10 p.m. at the Junior League of Little Rock, 401 Scott St., Little Rock, with a VIP reception from 6 to 7 pm. Tickets are $75 for general admission tickets and $150 for VIP tickets. Attendees will enjoy the music of Rodney Block and the Rodney Block Collective in the historic  Junior League building while sipping a curated selection of craft beer and bourbon. The VIP reception will feature exclusive tastings of rare and premium bourbon and beer, tasting notes with Seth Eli Barlow of O’Looney’s Wine and Liquor and tastes of specially created menu item from The Pantry.

UA Little Rock Public Radio is listener-supported, and all proceeds will go to fund programming and operations for KUAR 89.1, which broadcasts news and cultural programming for Central Arkansas, and KLRE Classical 90.5, which broadcasts music and musical programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
