UA Little Rock to Host Faculty Excellence and Student Research Expo
UA Little Rock will host two important university events this week to showcase faculty and student work at its best.
First is the 33rd annual Faculty Excellence Awards, which recognizes, encourages, and rewards outstanding work in teaching, research, and public service. The Academy for Teaching and Learning Excellence will also be presenting their spring and fall 2021 ATLE Awards.
The 2022 Faculty Excellence Awards will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 7 in the Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter Auditorium. The event can be viewed online as well. The link to the livestream will be sent out on April 7.
Each year, UA Little Rock showcases the work of undergraduate and graduate students with the Student Research and Creative Works Expo. It is also an opportunity for Signature Experience awardees to feature their completed research projects.
This year’s expo will be held from 2-4 p.m. April 8. Students will be presenting their work outside from the Chi Omega Courtyard to Cooper Fountain. The event will be the first in-person expo since Spring 2019 and is free and open to the public.
