Bill Ballard likes to say he has an angel on his shoulder. That angel was never more apparent than the time Ballard nearly killed an elderly woman.

More than 700 fans visited the Jack Stephens Center for Meet the Trojans, a night of fun, food, music, and games with the Little Rock student-athletes.

The fifth annual “SpectacUALR” to benefit Trojan Athletics will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Jack Stephens Center on the University of Arkansas at Little Rock campus.

Three current and former UALR student-athletes were named to UALR’s Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. Sophomore men’s basketball player Gus Leeper, senior soccer player Michelle Pittman and former UALR men’s basketball player Marlon Louzeiro honored at a reception sponsored by the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development on March 13.

After 13 consecutive wins this season, the Trojan women reached the finals of the Sun Belt Conference tournament in Hot Springs on Monday, March 11.

The UALR basketball teams will close out their regular season this weekend while the baseball team is just getting started. With recent victories for all three teams, now is the time to check out some games and support the Trojans.

Students, staff, and alumni will come together to celebrate UALR’s 2013 homecoming with a week full of activities Feb. 25 – March 2.

The Trojan Lettermen’s Association presents the Department of Athletics’ sixth annual Lettermen’s Weekend kicks off Friday, Feb. 15 in conjunction with the men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader against Middle Tennessee.

The UALR women’s basketball team will host its annual Pink Game Night on Wednesday, Jan. 30, taking on Louisiana Tech. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center.
