The committee appointed to review the findings of a football feasibility study for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock has recommended that the university hold off on establishing a football program at this time.

Little Rock basketball has announced a major addition to its future non-conference schedule as the Trojans have signed a two-game contract to face UConn in the fall of both 2020 and 2021. The 2020 game will be played in Connecticut, with the Huskies making a historic trip to the Jack Stephens Center in 2021. 

Little Rock Athletics is pleased to announce a number of recent legacy gifts to the Trojan Athletic department. These generous donations, which total nearly $1 million, will greatly enhance the student-athlete experience for all 15 Trojan Athletic programs.

Little Rock Athletics has announced a change to the Trojan men’s basketball exhibition scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Jack Stephens Center. Little Rock will now hold a Maroon and White scrimmage on Nov. 1, instead of the previously scheduled exhibition against LeMoyne-Owen.

A former college student-athlete and long-time Trojan season ticket holder has given Little Rock Trojan Athletics a gift of $250,000.

University of Arkansas at Little Rock Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Chasse Conque has announced the promotion of Casey Page to assistant athletic director for ticketing. Page has previously served as the Trojans’ director of ricketing since August of 2016. 

Little Rock Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Chasse Conque has announced the hiring of Jonathan (J.P.) Behnke as the Trojans’ director and head coach of the Track and Field/Cross Country program.

The athletic departments from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Central Arkansas announced the formation of the Governor’s I-40 Showdown, a rivalry series established to promote the spirit of in-state competition between the Little Rock Trojans and the Central Arkansas Bears while celebrating the athletic programs of both schools.
