Policy

In efforts to comply with OSHA 1910.1200 (Hazard Communication), the UA at Little Rock campus will maintain a Chemical Hazard Communication Plan (CHC Plan). The CHC Plan is not intended to be an exhaustive or fully comprehensive reference, but rather a guide for individuals. If a topic is not covered in the CHC Plan, requirements expressly written in OSHA 1910.1200, will be applied.

Its purpose is to ensure that university faculty and staff are effectively informed concerning potential and existing chemical hazards. In addition, the CHC Plan will help to provide requirements designed to ensure that adequate protection against hazards are provided.
