Policy

Should circumstances necessitate the secure closure of laboratories or studios for administrative reasons, the responsibility for securing the facilities and materials shall lie with the Office of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS). Environmental Health & Safety shall erect barricades and seal or lock storage areas as necessary to prevent unauthorized access. Signs or placards shall be placed conspicuously stating that access to these spaces must be coordinated through the UALR Office of Environmental Health & Safety in the Facilities Management Department. Any access from the time of closure shall be coordinated through EHS. No individual may cross, remove, or tamper with barricades, locks, or seals without prior approval from EHS.
