UA Little Rock is offering incoming freshmen a scholarship that covers up to half of their course tuition and course fees for the 2024-25 academic year.
Requirements and How to Apply
Incoming students are not required to apply for these funds, and awards will be processed automatically for those who meet the following requirements:
- Unconditionally admitted as an incoming freshman for fall 2024
- Enrolled in 12 or more credit hours for fall 2024
- Students with institutional scholarships of $5,000 or more are not eligible
It is renewable for the spring 2025 term for those who earn a 2.25 GPA and enroll in 12 or more credit hours for spring.
Award Amount
Up to $5,000, awarded equally over fall and spring semesters. Only in-state tuition and fee charges will be covered. The scholarship is funded through a combination of private and institutional funds.
Participation in Student Success Initiatives
UA Little Rock has significantly ramped up its investment in support services for students. Recipients of this award must agree to participate in student success initiatives as recommended by their advisor. Student success topics include academic success, life skills, and financial literacy.
