Scholarship Deadlines

Fall 2020 Final Document Deadlines:

  • Thank You Letters: Letters must be submitted by November 15, 2020. Your scholarship award(s) will be canceled if we do not receive your thank you letter by this date. Letters can be emailed directly to our office at financialaid@ualr.edu as a Word Document. Students can access our Thanking Your Donor page for further guidelines and information.
  • Admission Credentials: Students must submit any outstanding admission credentials to the Office of Admissions by November 15, 2020, in order for their award to disburse. Failure to complete this process will result in the cancelation of the scholarship(s) awarded.

Spring 2021 Deadlines:

  • Incoming transfers: Simply apply for admission and turn in all credentials by January 12, 2021, in order to be considered for our Trojan Transfer award – no scholarship application is necessary.
  • Incoming freshmen: Simply apply for admission and turn in all credentials by January 12, 2021, in order to be considered for Academic Merit awards – no scholarship application is necessary.
  • Document submissions:
    • Students must submit any outstanding admission credentials to the Office of Admissions by April 1, 2021, in order for their award to disburse. Failure to complete this process will result in the cancelation of the scholarship(s) awarded.
    • Any required thank you letters must be submitted by April 1, 2021. Your scholarship award(s) will be canceled if we do not receive your thank you letter by this date. Summer 2021 Information:

  • Institutional scholarships are for fall/spring courses only. There are no summer awards available.

Fall 2021 Deadlines:

  • Current and incoming students: The deadline to apply for general private and mentored program scholarships in Trojan SMART is March 1, 2021.
