Friends of the Arts
About
Friends of the Arts (FOA) is a volunteer organization that supports the fine arts programs of the UALR College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. These programs include the Departments of Art, Music, and Theatre & Dance, and our concert series, Artspree. Support from FOA membership contributes to yearly scholarships for students of each department, promotion of Artspree, and faculty incentive grants to accomplish such tasks as renovation of practice rooms, purchasing of equipment and tools, and technology maintenance.
Upcoming Events
Monday, November 15: Artspree has invited the ensemble Trio del Sol to perform during their 2010-2011 season. Hailing from Arizona, this energetic group, consisting of clarinet, piano and violin, will entertain you with their original arrangements. After their performance, FOA will treat the audience to a reception. You can mingle with the musicians at our exclusive CD-signing party.
