Preparing Students to Stand Out in Their Field

Knowing how to effectively communicate your ideas and solutions using the latest technical tools is essential to standing out in your field. Utilizing web publishing, cloud-based technology, and business concepts are valuable skills for any student or working professional. The Information Technology program in the George W. Donaghey College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (CSTEM) empowers students to master the technical skills expected in any industry.

This cross-disciplinary program was created with input from leaders of central Arkansas companies. Our courses include problem-solving exercises and team projects with technical and communication components. You’ll learn soft skills, take personality tests, and learn how to apply that knowledge in the workplace.

The minor program includes business concepts, interpersonal interaction, team projects, and presentations. The technical certificate is ideal for working professionals who want to get practical experience managing information and providing innovative solutions.
