Nursing

Welcome!

The department offers you an opportunity to complete our Registered Nursing program and enter professional practice following completion of the nursing courses required for the Traditional RN option (fall, spring, fall, spring) or the Accelerated Traditional RN option (fall, spring, summer, fall). If you are a LPN/LPTN or Paramedic, the program offers 3 semesters (summer, fall, spring) of nursing courses for degree completion.

All Nursing Courses are limited to formally admitted UALR nursing students.

More information can be found in the Nursing program information packet. If you have additional questions or would like to speak to a nursing advisor, please contact us at 501-569-8081.

The Nursing Program is approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). The NLNAC is a source of information about the program and invites third party comments as a component of accreditation. The NLNAC may be reached at 61 Broadway, New York, NY 10014, or by phone at 1-800-669-1656.
