For more than 30 years, UA Little Rock Children International worked alongside families in Central Arkansas, providing health, education, and empowerment programs to more than 20,000 children and youth. We had the privilege of growing with this community—supporting students, celebrating milestones, and building lasting relationships with families.
As the Children International sponsorship program in Little Rock came to a close, it created an opportunity for something new. What began as a sponsorship-based model has grown into a focused, school-based approach centered on social emotional learning.Today, UA Little Rock Community Programs partners with the Little Rock School District to support students through daily, school-based engagement—helping them build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in life. While our programs have evolved, our commitment has not. We remain deeply invested in the students, families, and schools we serve—continuing the work of supporting children in meaningful, lasting ways.
This next chapter is made possible in part through support from the Common Good initiative, a grant provided by Children International. We are grateful for the foundation that made this work possible and for the opportunity to continue serving our community in new and impactful ways.
